    No. Notes and sheet music are man made. You can play music by just opening your ears.

    plus i still have to add something here:
    for this song, to actually understand the music you’ll have to study sheetmusic and understanding all chords they are played in, that would make it a lot easier.
    so, i’d even count on at LEAST one year.
    as many wouldn’t believe me, being able to read notes is essential to understand how playing music works.

    theres so many different version of this song in both acoustic and electric and i can say i like this slow tempo acoustic one as in my top 10 favourites for canon =P
